Mixed Copper Division:
Canadian Red Dragons of Sudbury started their run to the finals defeating North Bay’s Blame It On Wendy 131-108.  From there, they continued their winning streak defeating Slippery Turtles from North Bay 117-86 and We Pick Pockets of Ottawa 124-106.  In the championship final they faced We Pick Pockets again and only needed the first set to claim the title.

We Pick Pockets won their opening match over Odd Couples of Sudbury 126-74 then defeated Rarin’ To Go and A & C Variety of North Bay before losing to the Red Dragons. On the losers side of the bracket they defeated third place finisher A & C Variety again 120-109 to earn a spot in the final.

Women’s Bronze Division:
Coyote Sexy from Sudbury set their sights and aimed for the finals.  On their way they defeated North Bay’s Four Play 111-90 and Nice Tips 123-99 then Chixs with Stixs of Sudbury 124-118 to advance to the Championship Play Off. In the first set of the final, it was Coyote Sexy again defeating Chixs with Stixs 115-98 for the title.

Chixs With Stixs advanced to the final by defeating The Eff Team of Sault Ste. Marie, One Cue Short from Ottawa and third place finisher, Cue Tease of Ottawa.



Mixed Bronze Division:
There were 26 teams participating in the mixed bronze division.  In an all North Bay final, Swollen Members captured the title defeating Predators in the final by a score of 118-114. To get to the final, Swollen Members defeated Sudbury’s Hair of the Dog 115-84 and North Bay’s Soggy Bottom Boys 119-110. In their next outing, they defeated Pool Hall Junkies by a score of 121-106. The then faced the Predators and handed them a 133-127 loss to advance to the final.  

The Predators road to the final saw them defeat Ottawa’s Dream Team, North Bay’s Kingsbury Carpet Cleaning and Cecil’s First Dog Team and Prime Time of Toronto. They then lost to Swollen Members. Once on the loser’s side of the bracket, they rebounded in the semi final and defeated third place finishers North Bay Grinders 180-152.

Mixed Silver Division:
This division is for the “top guns” of pool.  To make it to the finals in this competition the teams have to play well with few misses.  All In of Toronto got off to a quick start beating North Bay’s Chumps 224-199, I’m with George of Ottawa 224-214 and Gogi Shots of North Bay 230-181. The then defeated Krazy Kami Kozzy’s of Sudbury in a very close match 219-218 to advance to the final.

On the loser’s side of the bracket, I’m With George battled back with wins over Sault Ste. Marie Ball Movement, Lions Den and Team Sexy from Ottawa and Gogi Shots. In the semi final they defeated eventural third place finisher, Komi Kozzy’s 249 to 219 to get a shot at the championship.

The championship final was a back and forth battle with the scored tied after 32 games. An additional match was need for All In to emerge as the champion, winning by a close score of 216 to 214.


Hard Luck Mixed Division # 1:

The Hard Luck # 1 Division was won by North Bay’s Long Shots # 2, defeating North Bay Jutras 140-86 in the final.

Hard Luck Mixed Division # 2:
The Hard Luck Mixed Division # 2 was won by Rez Rollers of Sudbury defeating North Bay Kingsbury Carpet Cleaning in the final by a score of 112-87.
