FAMILY THREE PLAYER TEAM TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Partners Pool Leagues hosted their 3rd Annual Family Three Player Team Tournament on Saturday, April 12th. The team of Yves Lafontaine, Robert Drouin and Ian Dugas emerged as champions going through the tournament without a loss until the final. On their road to the finals they defeated the Parks-Crea family, the Hendry’s and in the quarterfinal, defeated the Laverty family. The Laverty family with members Bob, Chad and Brandon Laverty, battled back to earn a spot in the final. Along the way they defeated the Morgans, Vivier’s and Zufelt family before losing to team Lafontaine. Once on the loser’s side of the bracket they defeated third place finisher, the Hendry family by a score of 55-53. The Hendry’s finished the day with 3 wins and 2 losses. The championship match saw the Laverty family win the first game by a score of 68-67 to force a second and deciding match. Team Lafontaine won the second match easily with a 60 to 36 score. |
